Diana Almand was born in good ol' McKinney Texas. Despite a slight longing for beach-front property, she has remained here her entire life. She has come to the conclusion that this is probably a good thing.

Artwork has been a major part of her life since a young age and she enjoys using a variety of media and styles. Everything from canvas and oil to old record albums and paint pens are viewed as potential art. Along with her variety of media, Diana also likes to recycle unusual items and turn them into beautiful pieces of art. Things viewed by many as "junk" have found their way into her hands and then onto someone's wall after she has finished with it. For Diana; influences are everywhere around us and the World is Full of Possibilities.

Diana has also participated in many Art shows around North America. Her artwork has been well-received in California, Alabama, New York and right here in Texas. Plans are in the works for international shows later this year. In addition, Diana has donated numerous pieces to charity, including the McKinney Performing Arts Center, Susan G. Komen and Support Our Troops.
